The SGS 1900 is the first device of the SGS-series. It uses a single un-cooled InGaAs detector with a range from 980 nm to 1900 nm. Thus it exceeds the standard range of 1700 nm. The sensitivity at very short measurement times is outstanding.
The SGS is compact and robust. It is outstanding for cost performance that makes the SGS 1900 ideal for online-analytics and OEM precuts.
The integrated electronics may incorporate analysis software to convert the SGS to a smart sensor. This allows applications like measurement of water, fat or protein content. It has remote function and control it from any personal computer.
