Bandpass filters allow the isolation of a band of wavelengths from the total spectrum without using of dispersing elements such as prisms or gratings. These filters provide a defined spectral band of high average transmission and bands of high rejection of spectral energy on both the long wavelength and short wavelength sides of the cut-on wavelengths.
High Signal-to-Noise Fluorescence Filters are designed for use in systems where high signal-to-noise ratios of each filter must be established independently.
